Inviting friends to the Zone

Hi all,
I think there should be a link in the main menu that when you click on it, would allow you to type in a friends e-mail address. An e-mail would be sent to that person telling them about the Zone. It would also include the invatation from the person who typed the e-mail address.

Seems reasonable enough. Every other social networking site has such a link.

I think that's a good idea! I invited 2 of my friends to this web site! I asked the cls if it was ok first! These friends don't like it when I talk to other users! So I'm glad to say we're not friends any more! This is the last time I ever invite anyone to join though! Hope

No thanks, if there my friends why would I want to lose them by inviting them to the site?

Just send your friends ane mail and tell them to check out the zone. That's what i do.
I mean some websites such as all in play have got an invitation system but their aim is to get money out of it because if you invite somebody and they sign up you get free membership.
Maybe the zone could have something similar. If you invite a friend and they become premium you could get some free months or something.

As Nikos said, why not just send email to your friends if u want them to join? As for asking people, the site is open to everyone. I know it's mainly full of blind people, but anyone can join. I don't think the site is very visually interesting to look at, based on what I've been told, but that's neither here nor there.

I like this idea a lot, and I will send a message about it to the staff list. I don't know when we might be able to implament it though, but I will definitely put it up there, to see what the rest of the staff, and the admins themselves think.

I personally find it kind've useless, as scott and another user have said, use email, that's what it's there for. why make the admins do other work that they don't need to do.
and as for post...3? you asked if it was ok to invite people to the zone? that's quite sad.
